Members of the Westport-based “Lucia Palmieri Fan Club” got together for a meal today at Mario’s Place in the Saugatuck area before more than 35 of them traveled together to New York’s Central Park for tonight’s performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” in which Westporter Palmieri, a seasoned soprano, portrayed the character Ines in the four-act opera.
