A man who allegedly shot someone at a Westport party in 2004 was arrested again.
Police arrested Brian Mincieli, 24, of Staten Island, Thursday night on two counts of failure to appear.
Mincieli was arrested in 2004 after he and an accomplice allegedly attempted to rob a party on Franklin Street in Westport. He allegedly shot a then Fairfield University sophomore who attempted to break up the robbery (See WestportNow Nov. 14, 2004).
Sgt. Jerry Shannon, police public information officer, said Mincieli did not appear at his court date in February to answer the charges from the shooting and a Canal Street robbery, which is where he got the gun used in the shooting.
Mincieli was in police custody on two separate bonds of $150,000 and $5,000, he said.
