Kool to be Kind Scavengers

There was a crowd in Westport’s center late today as many third grade school children joined Staples High School mentors to participate in a Kool to be Kind anti-bullying program event. The youngsters were involved in a scavenger hunt for Ally Power posters at various downtown merchant locations. According to quad-chair Westporter Sarah Green, the goal of the Feb. 1-18 event is to ”elevate the awareness of the need to diffuse and eliminate bullying among all ages groups.” (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
