June R. Bieling, 80
June R. Bieling of Shelton, formerly of Fairfield, and wife of Gerald T. Bieling, died Jan. 4 at home. She was 80.
Born June 4, 1932 in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Angelina (Gallo) Ferrone. Prior to moving to Shelton two years ago, she had resided in Fairfield for 43 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose main interest in life was spending as much time as possible with her family.
Survivors in addition to her husband include two daughters, Jeri-Ann Bieling of Shelton, Linda Bieling Carter of Trumbull, one son, Stephen T. Bieling and his wife Cheryl of Trumbull, one brother, Robert Ferrone of Norwalk, one sister, Annette Anastasia of Westport, three grandchildren, Connor, Tyler and Kaleigh Bieling and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by one brother, Thomas Ferrone.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road East, Westport. The funeral will take place Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from funeral home and at 10 a.m. in Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave., for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, 73 Greens Farms Road.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent’s Foundation for the Elizabeth Pfriem Swim Center for Cancer Care.
