Radio talk show host Don Imus has put his Westport waterfront property on Beachside Avenue on the market for $30 million—the same price he briefly asked almost four years ago before changing his mind about the sale.![]()

The property includes a 10,000-square foot white clapboard Georgian Revival main house with six bedrooms as well as a new two-bedroom guest house and a renovated two-bedroom gate house, according to the listing by Darlene Letersky of Fine Homes Connecticut.
There are 10 garage spaces and 215 feet of private beach. Taxes on the property are almost $132,000 a year.
Imus, 68, bought the property in 1997 for $4.6 million and completed his home in 2000, according to the listing. He briefly listed the home in 2005 for the same price.
The town record is the $25 million sale in 2006 of talk-show host Phil Donahue’s home, also on Beachside Avenue. (See WestportNow May 1, 2006)

Actually, just for the record, the property was listed from Oct. 2003-June 2004, list price $25M. Not $30M.
So five years later it’s worth 20% more? While the housing market is down that and more? Go figure…
Hey he can ask any price he wants, doesn’t mean he will get it.
