Francis Thomas Fanning of Santa Monica, Calif., formerly of Westport, died Jan. 8 in Santa Monica. He was 32. Image

Born in New York City, he was the son of John and Ann Marie Fanning. He was a Class of 2000 graduate of Staples High School and graduated from Fordham University in 2004 with a B.S. in business administration.

In addition to his parents, his brother, Mike, of Santa Monica, survives him.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m. directly at St. Luke Church, 49 Turkey Hill Road North, Westport. Interment will be private. 

Friends may greet his family on Tuesday, Jan. 15, from 2-7 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, Fairfield.
