Buddhist Relic Exhibit Opens Today

Westport’s Unitarian Church is hosting the opening today of an exhibit of rare Buddhist relics. The event, which is sponsored by Do Ngak Kunphen Ling Buddhist Center for Universal Peace in Redding, begins with an opening reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the exhibit continues through Sunday. The collection is of rare relics of Buddhist masters and saints which have been safeguarded in Tibetan and other Asian monasteries for centuries. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo
