Barbara Culp, 77
Barbara Culp, a Westport resident for 35 years, died Dec. 30 at home. She was 77.
Born June 19, 1935 in Durham, N.C., she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Braswell) Whitley.
She was a past president of the Westport Woman’s Club and a former volunteer for the Westport-Weston American Red Cross blood drive program.
Survivors include one son, David H. Culp of Charlotte, N.C., one brother, William Baker of Waxhaw, N.C., two nephews, Jeffrey Baker, Eric Baker, and one niece, Sharon McCollam. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Charles H. Culp.
At the family’s request, calling hours were omitted.
Memorial contributions in her memory made be made to the Westport Woman’s Club, 44 Imperial Ave., Westport, CT 06880.
