Explaining Offer to Move 1890-Built House

Developer David Waldman tonight explained to the Westport Board of Finance an offer by Bedford Square Associates to move a Queen Anne-style house on Church Lane to a nearby town-owned municipal parking lot to preserve it as work begins on the adjacent Westport Weston Family Y. (See WestportNow Jan. 8, 2013) First Selectman Gordon Joseloff asked for Board of Finance input on the proposal as he considers whether to bring it before the Planning and Zoning Commission and other bodies for consideration.
