Louise A. Kaufmann, 90
Louise Arciola Kaufmann, a native of Saugatuck, and wife of the late Leonard J. Kaufmann, died Feb. 1 in Norwalk Hospital. She was 90.
Born June 2, 1922 in Saugatuck, daughter of the late Carmen and Mildred (Masucio) Arciola, she has been a lifelong Saugatuck resident. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved cooking for and spending time with her family, her family said.

Survivors include two sons, Robert M. Kaufmann of Monroe, Thomas L. Kaufmann and his wife Lynn of East Haven; one brother, Anthony Arciola and one sister, Helen Downs both of Westport,. two grandchildren, Christina and Brianna Kaufmann one great grandchild, Joey Hernandez and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 5, in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Roa. East, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for an 11 a.m. mass of Christian Burial in Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, 73 Greens Farms Road.
