Diana Susan Cozzi of Westport died Oct. 16 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was 15.

Born Nov. 30, 1996 in New York City, she was the daughter of Louis and Susan Cozzi and has been a resident of Westport for 11 years.

Prior to moving to Westport, she had been a resident of Larchmont, N.Y. She attended the Connecticut Center for Child Development in Milford, a school specializing in improving the lives of children with Autism.

Survivors in addition to her parents include one sister, Kathleen Cozzi of Westport, one brother, Matthew Cozzi of Westport, her paternal grandmother, Marie Cozzi of Rye, N.Y. and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also predeceased by her paternal grandfather Hugo Cozzi and her maternal grandparents, Aldo and Carol Podesta.

The family will greet friends on Monday Oct. 22 in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road East Westport from 4 to 8 p.m. All are invited to attend a funeral service Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m., meeting directly at the Green’s Farms Congregational Church, 71 Hillandale Road., with The Rev. Allison J. Patton, pastor of the Saugatuck Congregational Church officiating.
