Champing at the Beach
Ready to run, entrants in this year’s Minute Man Race waited eagerly at the starting gate at Compo Beach today to begin a 10K race, the proceeds of which go to local charities. Sponsored by the Westport Young Woman’s League, the race had 1,400 people entered, up nearly 200 from last year, and raised $40,000. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
