The Westport Country Playhouse tonight hosted its second holiday movie night with a showing of a singalong version of the 1954 film “White Christmas”--a partial remake of the 1942 classic “Holiday Inn.” The audience joined in with stars Bing Crosy, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen singing the Irving Berlin classic title song, which won a 1942 Academy Award for Best Original Song. Other songs included “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” which won a 1954 Academy Award Best Original Song nomination. In a surprise ending, “snow” fell on the Playhouse audience as the credits rolled.
