‘CBS Sunday Morning’ Profiles Linda Hunt

Oscar-awarding winning actress Linda Hunt, now starring in TV’s “NCIS: Los Angeles,” was the subject of a “CBS Sunday Morning” profile today which mentioned she grew up in Westport. The 4-foot-9 actress, now 67, began her acting career with the Silver Nutmeg Theater, a children’s theater formed in 1951 in Westport. In 1952, as a first grade student at Saugatuck Elementary School (l) she made a field trip to Nyala Farm. Among her classmates (2nd l) was Westport First Selectman Gordon Joseloff. Next to them are Ronny Alves, Maryann Valiante, Beth Campbell, Kathy May, and Bobby Emory.
