Bus Ruckus Spills On to Post Road East

Westport police had to break up a fight between two women that spilled out of a Greater Bridgeport Transit bus today at Post Road East near Stop & Shop. Police said the altercation resulted in the arrest of Leshera Holman, 20, a Stratford resident, who was charged with assault and breach of peace. She was taken into custody and released to Trumbull police who had a warrant for her on charges of forgery, credit card theft and illegal use of a credit card, police said According to police, the altercation started when Holman struck an 18-year-old woman from Bridgeport as the bus was coming to a stop on Post Road East. The fight continued outside until police broke it up. Police said the two females know each other and work in the same location in Westport. They said the victim suffered minor scrapes.
