Westport’s Kligerman Gets First NASCAR Truck Win

Westport’s Parker Kligerman, racing his Toyota Tundra, today won his first NASCAR Camping World Series Truck race at Talladega, Ala.
It was the first win for Kligerman, 22, in 44 career Truck Series races.
He is now fourth in points in the Camping World Truck series. To date he has five second place finishes in the series. He drives for Roger Penske and Red Horse Racing.
A Westport native, Kligerman graduated from Staples High School and started racing in the Norwalk Karting Association races at age 13. He then moved into sports cars at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.
