Getting the View of First Responders

Congressman Jim Himes got a briefing from Westport Fire Department officials today on emergency preparedness in Westport and the region. Westport houses the Mid-Fairfield County Hazardous Materials Unit and Communications Truck and recently received a $265,000 federal grant arranged by Himes for a new headquarters generator.
